Quality independently-owned coffee shop. Good coffee here (I prefer the Fair Trade Organic), and a wide variety of organic baked goods and other products. The corporate coffee shop that used to be at this site couldn't even come close to what Bean and Leaf offers daily (so I won't name that chain). The Bean and Leaf employees are wonderful. I go there 5 to 7 days a week, so I am a regular customer, and it's the employees that keep me coming back. (The coffee is good, too, but so is the cheesecake, etc.). Good place to visit or to relax. Right at a central point of downtown Rochester, so they get plenty of business during warm weather, and during local events at any time of year. I'd really like to enjoy live music there, but they haven't had that in about a year now, and no idea why they haven't done more--it would really add to the experience, and attract more customers.…
