One word... AMAZING!!!. I've known about this place for years but because it resides in the Hotel Baronette lobby it's hidden so unless you're looking for it you won't find it. I had the pleasure of dining with a very special woman and for starters we enjoyed the Maryland Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and a nice bottle of Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast). All the items on the menu looked great, but we both decided on the Signature selection which was a fantastic 7 ounce Prime Filet and Butter Poached Lobster Tail. And I must say, our service was First Class. Our server (Aaron) was very kind, respectful and in-tune to the conversation my guest and I were having throughout the evening, never interrupting which I respect very much from a service staff. Our glasses of water were constantly filled and not once did I have to reach for the bottle of wine because Aaron was there to take care of us. Overall the night was magnificent... great company, great food and great service. There's no doubt I will be back and highly recommend this restaurant to others. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Editorial Review. Located in the Hotel Baronette, this upscale seafood and steakhouse is a popular dining option for the many business types on the premises.

Best food I've ever had.. I took my husband to a suprise dinner here and everything was over the top wonderful. We got the full course meal from apps to dessert and it was the best food I've ever had. We ordered oysters, salads, filet, and creme brulee for dessert. We got there around 6:30 and never felt the pressure to leave. We did feel our service could have been a bit better, but decided the server must have been new. She didn't tell us the specials etc. But service otherwise was wonderful. They even had someone take your coat for you. :)

Great place, you should try it.

a favourite. We have had the pleasure of dining here several times over the last 7 years, and each was memorable. I feel spoiled every time. The service and food is always outstanding, best steaks around! Great wine list, and other spirits also. They never rush you, or participate in that horrible practice of having two seatings each evening like some restaurants do. I agree with another review that its only detriment is that it is located in the hotel lobby, and there are certain unavoidable drawbacks attached to that, including the washrooms being across the lobby. If I may mention the washrooms again, they are large, clean and upscale, often a reflection of the establishment. Women always notice and appreciate these details.

Enjoyable, pricey place for steak. Filet and Lobster are their signature dish, Lobster was excellent, steak was very good. Morel Mushroom Bisque is excellent (very very rich, fyi). Service is extremely attentive, almost over attentive at times. There were a few noticeable lapses of service.

One example, we were not asked if we wanted our steaks "Prime" or "Choice". The difference is that "Prime" is a higher grade of steak and therefore more expensive by $10-$15. By default they gave us the "Prime".

You may also be disappointed by the casual hotel guest(s) who walk in wearing shorts and sweat shirt, or by a couple with infant in tow.

(Hint: If you are paying $35-$45 per meal, go ahead and get a sitter). ;)

Other then the few lapses, very nice pricey establishment to celebrate a "special occasion" at.
