The nicest people who will do anything to make it right. I've seen some of the other reviews and I honestly think they are not talking about the same store. There was a manufacturing defect with my wife's engagement ring. Not their fault, but they got it replaced no problem.

I bought my wife earrings for Valentines day, but I didn't know if I should get gold or silver? I went with Gold, but they said "if she doesn't like them, bring them back, and we'll change it to silver."

Highly recommended and well worth the drive all the way from West Bloomfield!

Always remember!. One thing to remember when you read a negative review is that is always 3 sides to every story. The customers, the stores and the real one. Most people love to complain and never stop to say thank you.

So, I am thanking Lucido's now. Thank you for all of the support you give the community. Raising money for people who need it. Thank you for always treating me like I mean something when I walk in your store. Thank you for always working with me with the price. You always get me right where I need to be!!!

Lucido,Fine Jewelry, HORRIBLE service - 0 stars not allowed. HORRIBLE service, on two separate occasions. I have purchased two items from there, both expensive. The first was a ring. I ordered a size 8 but apparently they didn't have it and knowingly sent me a size 6. I sent it back to get the proper size and it took over a month for them to get it to me.

I tried to use them again to purchase a necklace while a watch was also ordered. The watch was on back order so it would not be in for a while but they did have the necklace so we asked them to ship it. They did not do this. Finally I was able to reach them again (they would never call me back after repeated messages) and they said they didn't know why it wasn't shipped yet and that it would be done that day. Since I was out of town that weekend, we had them ship it to that location because they specifically told us they would send it via next day delivery. The necklace never came. Finally, after I left, it arrived at the location, which resulted in a family member having to bring it to a postal service and to pay to have it shipped to me.

I am exceptionally displeased with their service and will never attempt to buy here again. They clearly do not respect or appreciate their customers. They are quick to charge you for the items but have a habit of hanging on to the merchandise as long as possible.

There is no doubt I got ripped off. I had a ring custom made which cost me over 3,200.00 I didn't mind spending the money as long as I got what I was paying for. Someone I know recommended Lucido's so I went there. As someone who never knew much about rings I thought I would do some research beforehand. I learned the 4 C's and went in thinking I knew at least enough not to get scammed. The employees are very nice and they really took their time with me. I left feeling good about my purchase.

Fast forward 2 years. I got divorced and decided I would get the best price if I went back to the store. They do buy gold and diamonds.

Are you sitting down?

I paid 600.00 for the custom 14K white band

I paid $2500.00 for a .60 VS2 G diamond

At the time I thought this was a normal price. The diamond alone has a mark up of 100%. Do a search on a .60 G VS2 loose diamond and see the price. Unbelievable! Even Blue Nile gives you a GIA certification.

So anyway, Lucido's tells me they don't sell used diamonds and they would have to sell it to someone else because they can't put a used diamond in a ring. They offered me $750.00 for the entire ring. I can't help but wonder what they would have sold it to someone else for. They charged me $2500.00 for the diamond alone!

I decided I was going to sell it somewhere else. I wasn't going to let Lucido's sell it to someone else and double dip at my expense. I went to various jewelry stores and every one of them told me I overpaid for the ring. I just can't believe I paid so much for this ring. My ring from Lucido's didn't even have a GIA certification. They told me it would cost an additional $300.00 so I didn't get one. They gave me a useless appraisal of $3750.00.

I end up going to a jeweler in Brighton who turns out to be the most honest of them all. He took the stone out of the ring and placed it under the magnifier. So now- there is chip in the stone. He let me look and sure enough there is tiny chip which you couldn't see in the setting. So not only did I pay $2500.00 for a .60 G VS2- it has a chip in it. The jeweler said that it's possible it got chipped during the setting but he couldn't say for sure. I only wore the ring a few times and never hit it on anything. I never had it in another store for fear someone would switch the diamond on me. I think I would have made out if they had!

Bottom line is Lucido's sold me a .60 G VS2 diamond for $2500.00

They sold me a $600.00 custom 14K gold ring which under the magnifier you could see the jagged edges and shoddy work. I understand they have to make a profit but they offer me $3,000.00 less than their own appraisal!

I still want to know how they could have sold me that diamond for $2500.00! The price of that diamond alone with the exact same dimensions is $1500.00 everywhere else. Like I said, I understand they have to make a profit to pay for their advertising but that is just absurd.

Don't buy your ring here. I agree with the first review on here. By the time you find out you have been had it's too late. They are now advertising on TV and have this beautiful website. You are paying for the name and their little chocolates at the counter. If you are going to pay for a name- go to Tiffany. At least you know you are paying for the name there and you can trust them.
