Not exactly what I was expecting. Being from New Orleans I was pretty excited to find a place where I could get a Po boy. The sandwich was good, but note that I said "sandwich". It wasn't on french bread, the defining factor of po boy. The bread was dense and chewy, rather than a crispy crust with a light inside. Nevertheless, the sandwich was good and I will be back.

Alright. Food is great. Not very child friendly, although I never expected them to be. We had coupons that they would not honor (for no reason-honestly). I have a huge problem with an owner who puts out coupons (with a reputable buisness) and doesnt honor them just to get you in there! I dont know if I will return.

It's the Big Easy: comfortable, friendly, and great food!!. It's pretty tough for me to stop in at Howe's and not order the Crawfish Etouffee, the Jambalaya being a distant second. The Etouffee is easily the best I've had anywhere including from the South. My #2 son has to have Voodoo Shrimp, #1 son, Cajun Catfish. Some consider the quarters a little tight but with red checked tablecloths, and dark wood paneling, it all adds up adds to a comfortable, friendly ambience and experience. The wait staff is efficient, yet never seem to be overly rushed or too busy to chat. The fresh cornbread is wonderful and plentiful, and there's a choice of about 8 or 10 different tasty down home sides with every meal. The food portions are generous, prices reasonable. This place is easily one of my local favorites, and one that I heartily recommend.

The best in town. If you like cajun food this is as good as you can find this far North. Could not have a better meal, service, selection at any restuarant in the south.

Crawfish Heaven. Rachael was our server. We sat outside. She was also the bartender, I think. Maybe she cooked, too. She was the only worker we saw. She was nice, and the food was very authentic. We were in New Orleans for New Year's Eve of 2003/2004, and the Crawfish, well, here it is Crayfish Etouffie, was magnificent, perhaps even better than down yonder. You can sit outside, too, and watch the cars go by on Woodward. They even have beer from New Orleans, and hot sause that will make you run to the bathroom in a few hours. I had a great time!
