Simply The Best.
Pizza Papalis is a great place to eat pizza. The crust of their pizza is golden brown and flakey, tomato sauce is rich and thick, and the rest of the ingredients are fresh. That's the reason why
their pizza is very tasty and full of flavors. Their pizza is simply the best.
My other favorite food at Pizza Papalis is the deep dish cookie with ice cream. It's super delicious and mouth-watering. It is one food I craved a lot at Pizza Papalis. I always order it along with pizza. It's the best combo I've eaten my whole life.
Finally, their customer service is beyond compare. All the crews and officers of Pizza Papalis are very amicable and approachable. That's another reason why I became a regular customer at PP.…
The Best Pizza on Earth (seriously).
When I first went to Pizza Papalis, I looked at the menu and thought people had to be crazy to spend $15 on a small pizza. I actually left and refused to support a place that would charge that much
for a pizza (I now know that a small pizza at Pizza Papalis actually feeds 2-3 adults).
One day I finally gave in and ordered this pizza, and it is the best pizza I have ever had in my life. I am VERY familiar with pizza. I have eaten at Genos East, Lou Malnatis, Giordanos, Unos, and all the great Chicago pizza places, and Pizza Papalis beats all of them hands down. All the ingredients are fresh, the tomato sauce is amazing, and the crust is flakey and golden brown, and the staff are very friendly.
I make it a purpose to visit Pizza Papalis several times when I come back to Michigan to visit, and it's so good that I actually thought about franchising one in Miami Beach (I live in Florida).
I strongly urge you to try this place. Be sure to get the deep dish pizza as it's the best you will ever have. I used to be engaged to girl from Chicago who told me I was crazy if I thought there was a better pizza than Lou Malnati's; but after she went to Pizza Papalis, she agreed it was the best. We are both pizza fanatics.
Also, the deep dish cookie with ice cream is also great. Have them heat up the cookie and give you some chocolate fudge/sauce to make it even better.…
Pizza Papalis' three-inch-high pizzas are worth the wait, and can only be eaten with a knife and fork..
In Short
Elbow-to-elbow pizza fans crowd the place waiting for their pies. Expect a 35- to 40-minute wait while a deep-dish bakes. If time is of the essence ask for a flat pizza. Crusts are
softer than most and more like pie crust, made with flour shipped in from New York. Because the pies are so thick, the dominant motif is cheese, with sauce taking a backseat. A few hearty pastas are also on the menu.…
