Outstanding brunch at this small restaurant. The Breakfast Club is one of those places you'd probably never notice - tucked away in a strip mall in a part of town where you're not likely to go. Friends of ours raved about this restaurant, so we checked it out. It's even better than we'd heard - and we're real foodies.

The Breakfast Club is somewhat small, but very sunny & inviting. They have free hi-speed wireless, though I haven't noticed anyone coming in to enjoy coffee and surf the web. Most everyone is here for the outstanding food. We've enjoyed terrific omelets (like the salmon and dill omelet), egg scrambles with artichokes, peppers & spinach, and burritos. The cherry french toast is unbelievably delicious (although I'm not sure I could eat an entire serving without experiencing quite a sugar rush).

They also serve lunch food, which looks delicious - but we always end up having brunch/breakfast meals. They have pasta dishes, seafood and other more substantial entrees.

The food is very well made with a great balance of flavors and texture. They serve a great variety of creative & interesting food, and have a list of many daily specials. The presentation of the meals is always very nice, and the service is consistently excellent. And, we really like the coffee - and we roast our own, so we're really picky about great coffee! It's rare that we find a restaurant that has very good coffee, but this is one of them!

Another great feature - the prices are extremely reasonable! I'd say the food is just as good as some of the more fancy/expensive places in town (like Beverly Hills Grill), but priced much lower.

It seems that this cozy place gets crowded in the "after church" time on Sundays (around 10:00), so plan ahead. It's worth the wait! This has eclipsed Toast , Beverly Hills Grill, Detroit House of Breakfast, and Sweet Lorraine's Livonia to get our vote for best brunch in metro Detroit.  View Less
