Good Food ......... Service and Attitude Stinks. Eaten there once and ordered to go twice. Food was good, but I won't go back. Stood at front counter several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Attitude was nasty and uncaring. They seemed to feel they could ignore me and be unfriendly and not have the business suffer, sort of a nose in the air attitude. Also - if you want fried rice with your meal instead of white, they will not do it,,,,, you have to order an entire order of fried rice for about $10 extra.…
Terrible customer service. Will not return..
I have eaten at Hong Hua on several occasions and thought it might be nice to host a small wedding reception party there. Strike one-I called to ask about dates and fees. A woman took my name and
number and never returned my call. Strike two-A week later, I called again and discovered my name and number was written somewhere and no one had bothered to call me back. I was told, "Please call back, it is lunch and we are VERY busy" . Okay, I'm about the throw significant business their way, but obviously it doesn't matter much! Several hours later, the manager called.
He didn't apologize and informed me that I should come in to take a look at the menu. I agreed and told him when I would swing by later that week.
Strike three-when I arrived with my fiance, I asked for the manager. He told us, "I'll be with you in 10 minutes, I have to FINISH MY LUNCH". It wasn't 10 minutes. We waited for 20 minutes and decided such shoddy attention to service doesn't deserve our business. The manager called almost 30 minutes later and asked us where we were!
I cannot frequent an establishment where the service is poor. I was willing to overlook a few things, but when my business to host a party is not appreciated, I will take this as a cue to take my business elsewhere.
I was very disappointed and word of mouth can the worse kind of advertising a business would want.
In this economy, what a shame to turn an opportunity to host a party and gain new customers.
I will be sure to tell my friends why I decided not to host my party here.
what a shame!…
Over-rated. I found that this place is highly over rated. I was expecting great food based on the reviews. What I got was mediocre carry-out . Save your money.
Yummy chinese food in a sophisticated setting. After receiving top honors for "Restaurant of the Year" in "Hour Magazine," I decided to give this non-descript roadside restaurant a try -- and I'm glad I did. I've eaten here probably eight times and only once was I disappointed with the fried rice & chicken (it smelled like a dirty wet dog, but the server was quick to replace my order). Other than that, the mushu is simply delicious, the hot& sour and eggdrop soup are fantastic and the ambiance is sophisticated and warm. This is a great spot for a date or special occasion.…
Best Authentic Chinese. I really enjoy the food here it is lacking all of the grease. The staff is really nice worth every penny. I would not recommend this to people who enjoy the chain restaurants.
